Advantages of the GOIOT Opal deck panel
The panels in the Opal range are entirely made of aluminum, both the opening and the frame. Their large sections allow for complete rigidity of the panel. The glass is made of acrylic with a thickness of 10 mm. The aluminum used for the design of the panel is anodized, which helps maintain great resistance against corrosion over the years.
The sealing is done by a so-called double contact seal. The principle is that when the deck panel is closed, a first lip stops waves and spray, and a second lip ensures complete sealing of the porthole. The inclined shape on which the seal rests allows water to be pushed outward upon opening.
Inside the panel, ergonomic handles have been installed to ensure proper closure of the deck panel. A locking notch is also present to securely lock the panel. Finally, the telescopic hinges installed on the panels are adjustable from 0 to 120° depending on the panel models, and they can be opened up to 180° by unscrewing their base.
