The control panel (Comfort Control, Simple Control, or Push Control) is not included in this basic kit and must be chosen separately to operate the heater.
Installation and Maintenance:
- Installation : can be done flat or at an angle up to 90° (with cables facing upwards).
- Connection : power supply possible from main diesel tank or auxiliary tank.
- Maintenance : regularly run the air heater at full power (30 minutes per month) to prevent clogging.
- Approval : to validate your VASP, have the installation checked by a certified professional if you installed it yourself or have it done directly by one of our certified installers.
Altitude Usage Tips:
Thanks to an internal oxygen sensor , the Autoterm Air 2D Heater adjusts its fuel injection to the thinning air at high altitude (up to 4200 m). For more efficiency:
- Avoid ducts that are too long or too curved (air inlet/outlet).
- Maintain good ventilation (intake and exhaust diameters compliant).
- Use official Autoterm accessories for better performance.

Questions / Answers
To install the heater in your Campervan, Motorhome, and boats, many points must be considered:
Keep at least 1 m of duct before adding a T or Y
If you want to install multiple air vents, always keep at least one vent non-blockable
Maintain the distance from surrounding objects (50 mm from the air inlet / 150 mm from the air outlet)
Install the ends of the air intake and exhaust pipes on the same side; the distance must prevent the intake of exhaust gases by the air inlet (mandatory distance of 20 cm)
The fuel pump must be installed near the tank (the distance must not exceed 1 m) and below the low fuel level in the tank, but not below 70 cm from the minimum fuel level. It must not be installed above the tank.

Is choosing a more powerful heater to be safe a good idea?
NO!
It may be tempting to choose a more powerful model like the 4D air autonomous heater to heat the cabin of your vehicle. However, this is a very bad idea. The temperature will be difficult to regulate and you will have excessive fuel consumption.
By choosing a model that is too powerful for your vehicle, you will run your heater at low speed and clog the combustion chamber.

Which accessories should be purchased in addition to the heater?
