To install the heater in your converted van, motorhome, and boats, many points need to be considered:
Keep at least 1 m of duct before putting in a T or Y
If you want to install multiple air outlets, always keep at least one outlet unobstructed
Respect the distance from surrounding objects (50 mm from the air inlet / 150 mm from the air outlet)
Install the ends of the air intake and exhaust pipes on the same side, the distance must exclude the aspiration of exhaust gases by the air inlet (mandatory distance of 20 cm)
The fuel pump must be installed close to the tank (the distance should not exceed 1 m) and below the low fuel level in the tank, but not below 70 cm from the minimum fuel level. It should not be installed above the tank.

We offer kits for different models: Volkswagen T5/T6, Renault Trafic, Ford Transit, and much more!
Is it a good idea to get a more powerful heater to be sure?
NO!
It may be tempting to choose a more powerful model like the 4D autonomous air heater to heat the cabin of your vehicle. However, this is a very bad idea. The temperature will be difficult to regulate, and you will have excessive fuel consumption.
By choosing a model that is too powerful for your vehicle, you will run your heater at low speed and clog the combustion chamber.
Can I obtain my VASP approval with the heater?
Yes, of course, you can download the European compliance certificates R10 and R122 on our site to provide to the inspector: here
