Water heater 9 L CombiBOIL Autoterm:
In collaboration with Tigerexped, AUTOTERM has designed a new solution to heat your domestic water. This water heater integrates with all AUTOTERM heating systems, whether air or water-based. It can be easily installed, even if your heating system is already in place. The AUTOTERM water heater is equipped with: - Integrated coolant heat exchanger; - Rotating metal casing for versatile installations. Whether you're embarking on a road trip or sailing the high seas, the AUTOTERM water heater ensures a constant supply of hot water. With a 9-liter water heater, you can enjoy pleasant hot showers for 3 people consecutively. Note: This water heater can be powered by a pump up to 2.8 bar. How does it work?
Compatible with the Autoterm AIR series, the water is heated by the hot air passing through the water heater
Compatible with the Autoterm FLOW series
the water is heated by the coolant circulating in the water heater
Operates independently
this water heater can operate autonomously, powered by electricity

Features of the water heater with the Comfort boiler control
The main features of the AUTOTERM Comfort Boiler Control are as follows: - Real-time water temperature display; - The target water temperature is adjustable from 50 to 80 °C; - The hysteresis of water heating is adjustable from 5 to 25 °C relative to the target temperature.
Safety devices include: - Turning off the heating when the water temperature reaches 85°C; - Frost protection - When the water temperature drops to 2°C, the heating automatically heats the water to +15°C and air to +7°C, protecting the water heater from freezing.
NOTE: The Comfort Control and Comfort Boiler Control panels differ in hardware and software. The standard Comfort Control cannot be upgraded to the water heater monitoring functions.
Recommendations for a smooth user experience
Water pump
Ensures water circulation. If you already have a pressurized water pump in your vehicle, you do not need to replace it to use it with the boiler system.
Pressure valve
Eliminates the risks of an over-pressurized domestic water system, which could cause leaks.
Thermostatic mixer
Mixes hot and cold water to ensure optimal temperature and increase the volume of hot water.
This boiler is available in 7 liters, 9 liters, and 12 liters versions, ensuring the perfect capacity for different requirements.
12/24V (DC/Direct Current): Due to space constraints, no thermostat or safety shut-off function is integrated into the heating element! The shut-off at the desired target temperature or in case of overheating MUST be implemented externally. (For example: with an external thermostat module).

FAQ:
What should I consider if I select a boiler without the Comfort Boiler Control panel? Should I expect restrictions due to the non-use of the control panel?
Without the control panel, there is no display of the boiler water temperature It is not possible to regulate the boiler temperature via the heating No antifreeze function via the heating No overheating protection when operating via the heating
How long does it take for the combiBOIL to heat the water? (With air heating / electric / via the engine cooling circuit / the water heater)
Regardless of the air heater with which combiBOIL is used, it takes about 60 minutes to heat the water from 20°C to 60°C. This corresponds to a power of about 500W for 12l, 400W for 9l, and 300W for 7l. For heating elements, the time depends on the power of the heating element: 12 V/300 W: about 66 minutes for 7 L, 84 minutes for 9 L, and 112 minutes for 12 L. 24 V/600 W: about 33 minutes for 7 L, 42 minutes for 9 L, and 56 minutes for 12 L. 230 V/500 W about 40 minutes for 7 L, 51 minutes for 9 L, and 67 minutes for 12 L. When operating via the coolant from the engine cooling circuit, the preheating time is about 34 minutes if the temperature is around. When integrating the cooling circuit, it is essential to integrate a pre-mixer or a thermal valve.
In what position can and should combiBOIL be installed?
The cold water connection must always be at the bottom and the hot water connection always at the top. The combiBOIL support being adjustable, wall, ceiling, and floor mounting is possible.
What size boiler do I need? How much hot water can I get with the combiBOIL 7l/ 9l/ 12l?
Generally, with a shower temperature of 30°C, you can expect about twice as much ready-to-use water compared to the content of the water heater. Basically, the amount of water available for the shower, for example, depends on the temperature of the boiler water and the coldness of the cold water added to it. This results in a quantity of water based on the desired shower temperature.
What is the minimum and maximum distance between the heating and the boiler?
This is more important than maintaining certain distances: the closer the two components are, the more important it is to protect the water from overheating and to use the corresponding mode in the boiler control panel. The further away, the longer the heating time will be, but the risk of overheating will also decrease.
If there is no water in the combiBOIL, can hot heating air circulate?
Yes. An auxiliary air heater and a second water circuit can also be used and connected when the boiler is "dry". However, combiBOIL must under no circumstances be electrically heated if it does not contain water.
What happens if you do not use a second heating loop in the combiBoil?
If you do not wish to integrate the engine cooling circuit into the system, nor install underfloor heating or a towel dryer, the connections of the second heating loop can simply remain open. The heating coil is not connected to the sanitary water, so no water can leak from it.
How to create a towel dryer?
The inlet and outlet of the boiler for the second water loop must not be occupied by the connection to the engine cooling circuit. To operate the towel dryer, you connect suitable piping, as well as a thermal valve and an expansion tank. The circulation is by gravity. Caution: The towel dryer must not have a power greater than what the radiator/heating element allows to circulate in the boiler.
