The Autoterm Air 4D heater is a standalone diesel heater specially designed for leisure vehicles, trucks, Motorhomes, Campervans, and boats. Delivered as a kit, certified (VASP).

Autoterm Air 4D Heater
Description:
The Autoterm Air 4D diesel forced-air heater, also called “Planar 4D”, is designed to provide optimal thermal comfort in medium to large vehicles (trucks, minibuses, Motorhomes, boats up to 15 m). Its modulating power range (1 to 4 kW) allows adaptation to temperature variations and user requirements. Thanks to an oxygen sensor, it maintains performance at altitudes up to 4200 m.
At the heart of the Autoterm Air 4D Heater is a brushless motor ensuring the fan rotation and air intake into the combustion chamber.
- Improved efficiency: this type of engine limits friction and energy loss.
- Extended lifespan: no brushes = reduced mechanical wear, enhanced reliability.
- Combustion chamber: made of high-strength metal, it is designed to optimize diesel combustion, even in difficult conditions (extreme cold, low pressure at altitude…).

Installation tips:
Compatible with : buses, trucks, Motorhomes, boats / yachts.
To connect Ø 90 mm ducting (DE015) to the heater's air intake and outlet, an additional adapter is required.
- 4D adapter Ø 96-90 mm air outlet (ATR2-A9690-BK)
- 4D adapter Ø 80-90 mm air intake (ATR2-A8090-BK)
Installation
- Possible position in a technical compartment, under a seat or a dedicated compartment.
- Respect the orientation and required space (see Autoterm manual) for optimal ventilation.
Power supply
- Available in 12 V or 24 V depending on your vehicle.
- Provide a suitable fuse or circuit breaker (see max consumption of 57 W / 56 W depending on voltage).
Duct adaptation
- Air outlet: diameter ⌀96 mm. To connect a Ø90 mm duct, use the ATR2-A9690-BK adapter.
- Air intake: diameter ⌀80 mm. To switch to Ø90 mm, use the ATR2-A8090-BK adapter.
Control panel
- Mandatory choice among several models (Comfort Control, Simple Control, etc.) to operate the air heater.

The control panel (Comfort Control, Simple Control, or Push Control) is not included in this basic kit and must be chosen separately to operate the heater.

Usage tips at high altitude:
Thanks to an internal oxygen sensor, the Autoterm Air 4D Heater adjusts its fuel injection to the thinning air at high altitude (up to 4200 m). For more efficiency:
- Avoid ducts that are too long or too curved (air intake/output).
- Maintain good ventilation (compliant intake and exhaust diameters).
- Use official Autoterm accessories for better performance
