Description:
The Autoterm Air 4D diesel forced-air heater, also called “Planar 4D”, is designed to provide optimal thermal comfort in medium to large vehicles (trucks, minibuses, motorhomes, boats up to 15 m). Its adjustable power range (1 to 4 kW) allows adaptation to temperature variations and user requirements. Thanks to an oxygen sensor, it maintains its performance at altitudes up to 4200 m.
At the heart of the Autoterm Air 4D Heater is a brushless motor that drives the fan and air intake into the combustion chamber.
- Improved efficiency: this type of motor reduces friction and energy loss.
- Increased lifespan: no brushes = reduced mechanical wear, enhanced reliability.
- Combustion chamber: made of high-strength metal, designed to optimize diesel combustion even in harsh conditions (extreme cold, low pressure at altitude...).

Installation advice:
Compatible with: buses, trucks, motorhomes, boats / yachts.
To connect Ø 90 mm ducting (DE015) to the heater's air inlet and outlet, an additional adapter is required.
- Adapter 4D Ø 96-90 mm air outlet (ATR2-A9690-BK)
- Adapter 4D Ø 80-90 mm air inlet (ATR2-A8090-BK)
Mounting
- Possible placement in a technical compartment, under a seat, or a dedicated compartment.
- Respect orientation and required space (see Autoterm manual) for optimal ventilation.
Power supply
- Available in 12 V or 24 V depending on your vehicle.
- Provide an appropriate fuse or circuit breaker (see max consumption of 57 W / 56 W depending on voltage).
Duct adaptation
- Air outlet: diameter ⌀96 mm. To connect a Ø90 mm duct, use adapter ATR2-A9690-BK.
- Air inlet: diameter ⌀80 mm. To switch to Ø90 mm, use adapter ATR2-A8090-BK.
Control panel
- Mandatory choice among several models (Comfort Control, Simple Control, etc.) to operate the forced-air heater.

Thanks to an internal oxygen sensor, the Autoterm Air 4D Heater adjusts its fuel injection to the thinning air at high altitude (up to 4200 m). For better efficiency:
- Avoid ducts that are too long or too curved (air inlet/outlet).
- Ensure good ventilation (compliant intake and exhaust diameters).
- Use official Autoterm accessories for better performance.
