Y-shaped adapter with a 120° angle for heating duct Ø 90 mm (DE015) and heating duct Ø 60 mm (DE013).

Suitable for the following heaters:

Information : T or Y adapters can be added to the heater’s air duct to distribute the warm air (Fig. 26). The adapters reduce the total warm air flow (Fig. 25). To ensure that the option you have selected for the air duct installation is acceptable and will not cause a significant reduction in warm air flow or overheating of the heater, you must consider the air distribution with the different components.

The air duct system must always start with the designated diameter for the heater type (2D: 60 mm, 4D: 90 mm, 9D: 100 mm), after which this diameter can be reduced using different adapters (see Fig. 6b/c). Using smaller diameters than those designated at the start of the system, at the warm air outlet of the unit, causes overheating of the heater. The first meter of the air duct should be as straight as possible and match the heater’s diameter.

The air duct system should be as simple as possible. Complex systems cause heat loss.

When using dual-channel air ducts, one channel must always end with a non-closable air outlet.
