Advantages of the RW Style Slide sliding window
-
Modern design: 10% smoked glazing and black frame for a strong Camper style.
-
Everyday comfort: large sliding opening to easily air the living space.
-
Effective insulation: double acrylic glazing providing good thermal protection.
-
Lightweight: light materials to avoid adding weight to your van.
-
Versatility: installation possible on driver or passenger side, on van, Motorhome, camper unit or pick-up.
Note: awning windows (such as SHADE, SQUARE,) are better suited for use in a fitted vehicle, as they allow a larger opening and can be used in rainy weather. Vanlife Store recommends installing sliding windows only in locations where an awning window could be damaged if left open (such as on the right rear panel of a van, for example).
This window is compatible with most vans, camper vans and motorhomes, subject to dimensional compatibility and wall thickness.
Its aluminium structure with inner counter-frame allows installation on both curved and flat walls.
Examples of compatible vehicles (non-exhaustive list):
Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer / Citroën Jumper
Renault Master / Opel Movano, etc.
Mercedes Sprinter / Volkswagen Crafter
Volkswagen Transporter, Jumpy, Vito
Motorhomes: Hymer, Adria, Chausson, Rapido, Pilote, Bürstner

Are the windows compatible with camper vans?
Yes, the windows are compatible with all types of camper vans (with curved walls) and motorhomes (with flat walls). The vehicle’s curvature is compensated by the aluminium inner counter-frame, which adapts to the shape of the vehicle during installation (as shown in the supplied installation tutorial).
What does the frame refer to?
There is the structural fixing counter-frame, which is supplied with all windows.
There is also the finishing inner counter-frame (with blackout blind and mosquito net), which is available as an option on certain models.
What is the required cut-out size?
For all windows and roof vents, the stated dimensions correspond to the cut-out size in the vehicle wall.
For example, a 700x400 window requires a 700 mm x 400 mm opening.
The external window dimension is 3 cm larger (730x430 mm), and the external dimensions of the finishing inner frame (with blackout blind and mosquito net) are 8 cm larger (780x480 mm) compared to the cut-out size.
What is the difference between SHADE, SQUARE, LIGHT, SLIDE and SLIDE LIGHT windows?
The difference is mainly aesthetic.
The SHADE, SQUARE and LIGHT windows are all awning (top-hinged) windows.
SHADE and SQUARE feature tinted glazing (10% light transmission), while LIGHT features light grey glazing.
The frame shape also differs: SHADE and LIGHT have rounded corners, whereas SQUARE has rectangular edges.
All windows are compatible with vans.
Finally, the difference between SLIDE and SLIDE LIGHT is that SLIDE features tinted glazing (10% light transmission), while SLIDE LIGHT features light grey glazing.
Is it easier to install a window with rectangular edges?
The installation procedure for rectangular-edge windows (awning or sliding) is exactly the same as for rounded-edge windows.
