What is a passive ventilator used for?

Placing a ventilator in a cabin or bathroom, for example, allows the room to ventilate naturally and maintain healthier air on board your boat. Passive means it has no fan to force ventilation, so it is 100% silent. With its careful manufacturing, this deck ventilator features a lens (a plexiglass glass) in the center to let some light through, which is always pleasant.

How is this ventilator installed on my boat or van?

It is installed by recess, requiring a drilling diameter of 97 mm; it is important to note that this type of ventilator can only be installed on a horizontal surface, it cannot be installed on a vertical wall. For fixing, you will need to provide screws separately, selected according to the surface on which you will install it. You should also provide sealing mastic for the screw passages. Note that an O-ring is supplied for perfect sealing.

On the interior side, a counter frame is included in the delivery to provide a good interior finish.
